Exciting News: Vepra Podcast Joins the Library of Congress Archives!

I am thrilled to announce a major milestone for Vepra Podcast: the entire series, including all our inspiring interviews, has been officially approved to become part of the archives at the Library of Congress!

This recognition by the Library of Congress—America’s largest and most esteemed library—places Vepra alongside an incredible collection of history and culture. Known worldwide as the largest library, it holds millions of books, films, audio recordings, photographs, maps, and manuscripts. With over 173 million items in its collection, the Library of Congress serves as a treasure trove of knowledge and heritage, preserving voices, perspectives, and stories for generations.

To see Vepra included here is incredibly meaningful. This archive represents a unique cultural space that invites individuals to share their stories, promote their heritage, and engage in cross-cultural dialogues. Now, Vepra joins these cultural narratives, showcasing the stories and experiences of Albanian-Americans and influential Albanians worldwide.

For me, this milestone is a reflection of a dream come true—a way to keep the voices and journeys of our community alive in one of the most important cultural institutions in the world. Coming from a family of early immigrants to the U.S., I’ve held tightly to my love and appreciation for Albania. Creating Vepra was a way to honor that bond, to bridge cultures, and to inspire future generations by sharing stories that capture the strength, resilience, and achievements of Albanians.

This accomplishment affirms our mission at Vepra: to connect, to inspire, and to preserve. Through the Library of Congress, these stories will continue to inspire generations, fostering understanding and pride in our roots. I am deeply honored to have our podcast included in a collection that represents the legacy of humanity.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Vepra and to all the incredible guests who have shared their stories. Let’s keep growing, sharing, and connecting—this is just the beginning!

Stay tuned for more episodes, and join me on this journey of cultural preservation and inspiration.

Warm regards,

Anja
